I start working at Jiangyin ** Chemical Limited in July, 2004. As a foreign trade operator in the Export Dept for selling fine chemicals. It has been three years.
Working progress
(1) Find new buyers
A. Chemicals website. Post sell offers and renew the selling information.
B. Chemicals BBS forum. Make the acquaintance of professionist of chemicals.
C. Chemicals exhibition. Make new contacts and build relationships.
D. Recommendation by the regular customer.
E. Others. By telephone, facsimile, E-mail and custom meeting to find new foreign companies, foreign company office in China, trading company and so on.
(2) Example
A. When received the enquiry from a buyer, contact with forwarder, offer, discuss payment terms, and arrange sending sample if required.
B. Counteroffer. Talking about the price which based on FOB or CIF, and payment terms. After receipt the purchase order, signed the PO and booking space.
C. Documents made out, deposit receipt (as different payment terms), arrange shipment, document presentation (send document), and cancel after verification.
D. Exchange complete. Get feedback from the buyer.
E. The relationship maintenance, have a long last relationship.
